Giant film cut-out placed on one of the main commercial streets of Chennai in Chennai, India. The cut-outs, can be as high as 60 feet. These larger-than-life advertisements typically cost less to hand-paint than to print. In Southern India, particularly in Chennai and Hyderabad, hand-painted film advertisements like these still outnumber printed ones.
